- Overview
  HCL Digital Experience provides a single access point to web content and applications, while it delivers differentiated, personalized experiences for each user across multiple touchpoints, such as web, mobile, hybrid mobile/web applications, and more.
- Supported migration paths

- Installing HCL Digital Experience

This condition is not recoverable.

  Use the administration tools that are provided with the HCL Digital Experience to do various day-to-day administration tasks.
- Securing
  Security tasks include setting up property extension databases and custom user repositories, configuring and activating SSL, and configuring authentication. In addition, tasks such as activating Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) and NIST SP800-131a security modules and configuring external security managers such as Security Access Manager might be required to secure your portal environment.

Prerequisites | HCL Experience API

The HCL Experience API requires software prerequisites to successfully run. The build package also includes this information, along with the installation and configuration steps.

The Experience API consists of multiple parts: Ring API, DAM API, Image-processor API, and each one is delivered through separate containers. These are all typically deployed on Kubernetes but the Ring API can also be run locally in Docker for development. The following steps are applied to the locally running Ring API part of Experience API.

Prerequisites before running HCL Experience API

Users need to meet the following prerequisites first before installing HCL Experience API:

Download and install Docker;
Make sure your HCL Digital Experience 9.5 instance is up and running, either in Docker or supported Kubernetes platforms.
