Finding activities with DevOps Code ClearCase windows

During the checkin, checkout, and add-to-source control operations on Windows systems or when you issue a checkout or checkin command from the File Browser on the UNIX system or Linux, a window opens. In the window, you set an activity and optionally enter a version creation comment.

If the view from which you start the window currently has an activity set, the Activity field shows the headline of the activity. If there is no activity set, the Activity field is blank. You can use the list to select an activity, click New to create an activity to set, or click Browse to find an activity to set.

If the project is enabled for Rational® ClearQuest®, the window displays the IDs of activities found by the UCMCustomQuery1 query.

In projects that do not use the UCM integration with Rational ClearQuest, the list shows the IDs of UCM activity objects in the stream to which is attached the view from which you issued the command. Click Browse to show the activities that other team members created in your stream.
