Installing and using z/OS® Extensions
z/OS® Extensions is a component of IBM® Rational® ClearCase® that enables mainframe users to perform select DevOps Code ClearCase operations. z/OS Extensions include Remote Build, TSO Client, and ClearCase RAM (CCRAM).
Configuring z/OS® Extensions
z/OS® Extensions include basic configuration tasks required to use the z/OS Extensions features and some optional configuration tasks. Some of these options need to be configured by an administrator and some need to be configured by individual users for their client environment.

Remote Build server options are passed to the server in JCL members that you modify before starting the server. These members are specific to the platform on which the server runs: z/OS® MVS™ or z/OS UNIX® System Services.

About this task

To edit the RCCUSS member, do these steps:

Customize the JOB statement as needed.
Replace the -PathPrefix- string in the PARM clause of the EXEC statement with the actual path prefix of the HFS directory where the z/OS® UNIX® System Services Remote Build was installed .
Note: The default HFS directory is -PathPrefix-/usr/lpp/ZosExtensions. If you changed this installation path in any way, that change must also be reflected here.
