z/OS® Extensions is a component of IBM® Rational® ClearCase® that enables mainframe users to perform select DevOps Code ClearCase operations. z/OS Extensions include Remote Build, TSO Client, and ClearCase RAM (CCRAM).

Before you begin

Edit and submit the following sample jobs. For more information about how to edit and submit them, see the instructions in the sample jobs.

The expected return code for appropriately edited copies of each of the above sample jobs is zero.

You must install z/OS® Extensions into its own new CSI, and you should not install any other products into its CSI.
