Viewing the version tree of a resource

Use the ClearCase® Version Tree view to see the version tree of a resource and to perform ClearCase operations (such as check in, check out, and apply label) on specific versions.

1. Select the resource whose version tree you want to view. Use the ClearTeam Navigator view, the ClearTeam Details view, the ClearCase History view, or the ClearCase Search Results view. If you are working in the Eclipse environment, use any Eclipse view that supports the Team context menu.
2. Take one of the following actions:
   • Select Show ClearCase Version Tree from the context menu.
   • In the Eclipse environment, select Show ClearCase Version Tree from the Team context menu.
   • Click the Show Version Tree icon.

Results

The version tree of the resource is displayed in the ClearCase Version Tree view and the version that is currently selected by your view is marked with the icon.
