Configuring ClearTeam Explorer preferences

If you use an automatic view or a web view, you can specify proxy server connection settings for the ClearTeam® Explorer in the ClearTeam Explorer Connections preferences page.

Procedure

To configure ClearCase® preferences:
  1. From the main menu bar, click Window > Preferences to open the Preferences dialog box.
    • If you are using the ClearTeam Explorer for Eclipse, select Team > ClearTeam Explorer > Connections.
    • If you are using the ClearTeam Explorer, select ClearTeam Explorer > Connections.
  2. If your connection to the ClearTeam Explorer server includes a proxy server, you can specify the proxy server by selecting the Connections preferences to open the Connections dialog box. In the Proxy Name field, enter the name of the proxy server machine. In the Proxy Port field, enter the port number of the proxy server.
  3. Save your preferences.
    • To restore all ClearTeam Explorer Connections preferences to their default settings, click Restore Defaults
    • Click Apply to set the specified preferences and leave the dialog box open.
    • Click OK to set the specified preferences and close the dialog box.
    • To nullify any changes to the ClearTeam Explorer Connections preferences you have made during the current session and close the dialog box, click Cancel.
