As with any enterprise-scale application in a Windows network, DevOps Code ClearCase® is affected when the network is converted from Windows NT domains to Active Directory domains. About this task

If possible, avoid adding DevOps Code ClearCase® users while domain migration is in progress. If you cannot avoid it, use either of the following methods:

Procedure

Create the user’s account in the Active Directory domain and ask the user to set CLEARCASE_PRIMARY_GROUP environment variable to the domain-qualified name of the DevOps Code ClearCase users group that has been cloned and exists in the Active Directory domain.
Create the user in the Windows NT® domain, and then migrate the user account.
