Mail relay
Use the HCL Compass EmailRelay service to implement a private relay service to forward email requests to a server that is registered for Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) server access.

Use the cqemailrelay.pl Perl script to configure EmailRelay, to specify the relay mode, and to start and stop EmailRelay.

EmailRelay is installed as part of the HCL Compass Web installation, under the same WebSphere® profile as your HCL Compass Web profile. You use the cqemailrelay.pl Perl script, which is located in your HCL Compass home directory, to configure EmailRelay based on your specific database and SMTP Email server. You also use this tool to specify which relay mode EmailRelay to run, and start and stop the EmailRelay application.
