HCL Commerce is a high-availability, highly scalable and customizable e-commerce platform. Able to support hundreds of thousands of transactions per day, HCL Commerce allows you to do business with consumers (B2C) or directly with businesses (B2B). HCL Commerce uses cloud friendly technology to make deployment and operation both easy and efficient. It provides easy-to-use tools for business users to centrally manage a cross-channel strategy. Business users can create and manage precision marketing campaigns, promotions, catalog, and merchandising across all sales channels. Business users can also use AI enabled content management capabilities.

Currency
You can display prices in your site in one currency, or you can use multiple currencies by following the instructions for the euro. For a site with multiple stores, you can use different currencies for the stores, or you can assign currencies to the store group. Depending on the type of site that you are creating, you can specify what currencies you want to use and how they are displayed. You can also allow customers to select a shopping currency.

Procedure

Add supported currencies.
Enable dual display of supported currencies.
Change JSP files so customers can select a preferred currency.
Change symbol and format of currencies, if required.
Add or change a currency conversion.
Make changes to the commands, if you do not use the default commands.
The FormattedMonetaryAmountDataBean and the PriceDataBean format prices are based on the CURFORMAT and CURFMTDESC database tables. The beans also add counter values to the string if they are specified in the CURCVLIST table and have valid conversions from the primary currency.
