Taking your first steps after WebSphere Commerce migration
After you have migrated your database and application tiers, migrate applicable WebSphere Commerce features, functions and customizations you have performed.
Deploying your migrated custom code
After you have finished migrating and testing your custom code, you need to deploy it to your WebSphere Commerce Version 7.0 production system. Customized code and EJB projects should be migrated (and tested) in the developer environment before deploying to a production WebSphere Commerce server.

If you are also using WebSphere Commerce Developer ensure that you migrate your WebSphere Commerce Developer database. If you do not migrate this database, you cannot use the database for development on WebSphere Commerce Version 7.0.
