Installing WebSphere Commerce Developer
Depending on the size of your organization, there are two options available to you for installing WebSphere Commerce Developer. In a large development organization, you might want to create a common central repository so that you can set up and manage multiple identical development environments. If this option is not appropriate for your organization, you can instead install WebSphere Commerce Developer on each individual workstation.

The Enterprise Deployment Utility is used to quickly replicate a custom WebSphere Commerce development environment onto multiple workstations.

Procedure

Check the log files in the following locations on each workstation:

Log files for the Enterprise Deployment Utility are generated under WCDE_installdir/Enterprise Deployment/logs directory
Log files for the WebSphere Application Server Custom Installation Package are generated under the home directory of the current user, such as C:\Users\Administrator\waslogs.
Log files for the IBM Installation Manager are generated under the home directory of all users, such as C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\IBM\Installation Manager\logs.
