Disabling WebSphere Application Server global security

You can disable WebSphere Application Server global security.

Procedure

1. Start the WebSphere Application Server administration server.
2. Open the WebSphere Integrated Solutions Console.
3. For each server that is running your WebSphere Commerce application, complete the following steps:
   1. Expand Security and click Global security.
   2. Clear the Enable administrative security check box.
   3. Click Apply.
   4. Click Save to save the Master Configuration.
4. Restart the WebSphere Application Server administration server. When you restart the WebSphere Application Server Administration Console, you will be prompted for a user name and password.
5. Open the Configuration Manager.
6. Select WebSphere Commerce > node_name > Commerce > Instance List > instance_name > Instance Properties > Security
7. Ensure that the Enable administrative security check box is not checked.
8. Click Apply.
9. Close the Configuration Manager.
