- Introduction
  BigFix aims to solve the increasingly complex problem of keeping your critical systems updated, compatible, and free of security issues. It uses patented Fixlet technology to identify vulnerable computers in your enterprise. With just a few mouse-clicks you can remediate them across your entire network from a central console.

Upgrading the relays

To upgrade the BigFix relays from the BigFix console, apply the Updated Red Hat Enterprise Linux Relay Fixlet to all relevant relays.

Note: When upgrading a BigFix Ubuntu relay from Versions 9.5.7 or 9.5.8 to Version 9.5.9, if you want to perform the manual upgrade, instead of running the Updated Ubuntu Linux Relay Fixlet, you must uninstall the relay and perform a fresh installation.
