Discover System Monitoring
Discover provides several mechanisms for monitoring the health of the Discover system and Discover user activities. This section provides access to the various tools available in the Discover system for monitoring it and its users.

System status reports provide an easy method for monitoring the status of the Discover system and its individual hardware and software components.

        This report provides time-sensitive details from the Short Term Canister including number of active sessions, table sizes, CPU and memory utilization, and canister trim statistics.
      - DecoupleEx
        This report displays the operational status of the Discover Transport Service and Short Term Canister in the Unica Discover datastore. You can use the statistics on this page as a guide for troubleshooting problems with the Short Term Canister.
      - Storage
        Displays information about the Long Term Archive files and indexes for the Canister by server. These charts provide a quick glance at the system usage.
      - Use the Data pre-aggregator report to check the status of the data collectors and pre-aggregator servers. The report is pre-defined and not editable. You access the report by selecting Discover > System Status > Pre-aggregator
      - Health Based Routing (HBR)
        This report displays the current status of the canisters monitored by Health Based Routing.
      - Database Filegroup Size
        The Database Filegroup Size report contains useful metrics on the current size and growth of the Discover databases.
      - Database Table Size
        This report provides statistical information on the current size and growth of database tables based on the type of data in them.
      - Collection Status
        The Collection Status report displays data collection information about the currently configured Discover servers and canisters. The report provides an overview of how fresh is the data in the system and indicates whether report and session data is falling behind.

      The System Statistics reports expose a variety of metrics on the data that Discover is currently capturing.

      Before you generate system statistics reports, you must enable the delivery of statistics hits from the relevant components through the Windows™ pipeline for analysis and reporting.
