      The Windows-based pipeline is composed of a sequence of individual agents that perform manipulations on hits that have been captured by the Unica Discover Network Capture Application and forwarded to the Discover Transport Service.

Reporting on Discover services

The Portal Management page contains useful information on the individual services deployed by Discover on each server.

Procedure

To access, select Discover > Manage Portal in the Portal menu.
Click the Manage Servers link in the left navigation panel.
Select a server whose services you wish to review.
Checking if services are running: When the server is selected, click the Registry and Services tool ( ). The list of Windows™ services for the selected server is displayed. A green light icon indicates that the service is enabled and working.

Reviewing service logs: Through the Manage Portal page, you can review the log files of various Discover services.
- Click the Logs panel. Click a link to display log information for one of the displayed services.
