Procedure

  1. Integrate the Discover databases with another enterprise data system. Using HCL Discover Data Export, you can extract data from the Discover database and insert it into another enterprise system. See "Data Export for Data Analysis Administration Manual" in the HCL Discover Data Export for Data Analysis Administration Manual.
Note: HCL Discover Data Export is a separately licensed component of the HCL Discover system.
  2. Forward to the enterprise data warehouse. Using HCL Discover Session Archiving, you can extract session data and store them in the enterprise data warehouse for archival purposes. See "Administration Manual" in the HCL Discover Administration Manual.
Note: HCL Discover Session Archiving is a separately licensed component of the HCL Discover system. HCL Discover Session Archiving is no longer available as a newly licensed product as of Release 8.7. Customers that licensed HCL Discover Session Archiving in Release 8.6 and earlier may continue to use and receive support for the product in Release 8.7 and later. For more information, please contact Discover Customer Support.
