Restoring the Application Description (AD) data set

About this task

To restore the AD data set:

Stop HCL Workload Automation for Z.
Allocate a new AD data set.
Copy the backup data set to the AD data set.
If you allocated the data set with a new name, update all JCL (ddname EQQADDS) to reference the new AD data set.
Start HCL Workload Automation for Z.
Enter the Application Description dialog to verify that applications are correctly defined. Reapply all changes since the AD backup was created.
