HCL Marketing Platform Administrator's Guide
HCL Marketing Platform provides security, configuration, notification, and dashboard features for HCL® EMM products.
Marketing Platform can be configured to integrate with Windows™ Active Directory server or another LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) server. By integrating HCL® EMM with a directory server, you can maintain users and groups in one centralized location. Integration provides a flexible model for extending the enterprise authorization policies into HCL EMM applications. Integration reduces support costs and the time needed to deploy an application in production.

Testing login as an Active Directory user

Verify the configuration by logging in to HCL® EMM with an appropriate Windows™ Active Directory user account.

Procedure

Log in to Windows as an Active Directory user who is a member of an Active Directory group mapped to a Marketing Platform group that has been assigned a role in the Marketing Platform.
Point your browser to the HCL EMM URL.
If you have enabled Windows integrated login, you should not see the HCL EMM login screen, and you should be allowed to access the HCL EMM user interface.

If you have not enabled Windows integrated login, you should be able to log in with your Windows credentials.
