Deploying the Distributed Marketing web application
You can deploy the web application by either including Distributed Marketing in an EAR file or by deploying the Distributed Marketing WAR file.

If you have a default or relative path for the templatesDir configuration parameter, you must restore all your lost icons and workflow XML files after you upgrade your WebSphere® Application Server clustered environment.

If you have a default or relative path for the templatesDir configuration parameter, you must restore all your lost icons and workflow XML files after you upgrade your WebSphere® Application Server clustered environment.

Procedure

Back up your templates directory under the exploded war directory before redeployment of collaborate.war.
Change the value of the templatesDir configuration parameter to a valid file system path.
For example, DistributedMarketing_Home/templates.
Stop your application server.
Copy the backup template directory to the path pointing to the value of templatesDir.
Redeploy the new collaborate.war file, and verify that all the icons and template workflows and template attachments are shown properly.
The exploded war directory can be located at <path_to_WebSphere_installation>/AppServer/profiles/<profileName>/installedApps/node01cell/collaborate.ear/collaborate.war.
