Unica Deliver is a web-based, enterprise scale marketing message solution that you can use to conduct outbound bulk messaging and transactional messaging campaigns. Deliver integrates with Unica Campaign and with secure message composition, transmission, and tracking resources that are hosted by Unica.

The Deliver Message Editor provides several ways to add links to personalized email messages, and landing pages that are hosted by Unica. Apply link attributes and inline styles to control how the links appear and how the target of the links display. Deliver tracks link clicks and stores the data in the Deliver system tables.

Add links for up to five social networks in an email communication. You can add only one set of social share links in a single communication. Use the Share widget to configure the links.

    Short links are concise placeholders that replace full length hyperlinks in message formats that limit how many characters you can use in a message. Each short links consists of a short link domain and a unique link identifier.

    Deliver describes link tracking results in the Detailed Link and Detailed Link by Cell reports. The reports use specific HTML link attributes to distinguish each link in the message. The attribute that the reports use depends on whether the link displays as text or an image, and whether the link attributes are unique. To identify links in reports, ensure that the attributes that the reports use to distinguish links are unique for each link in the message.

  Use the Preview feature in the Message Editor to see how a personalized message might appear to message recipients. Preview simulates how personalized parts of the Deliver document used to create the email, landing page, SMS, WhatsApp may change according to the personal characteristics of each recipient.

  Publishing the communication in the Deliver Message Editor makes the communication and the resources it contains available for use in a personalized message or landing page. Publishing a communication does not transmit the communication to message recipients or landing page visitors. However, to send a message through Deliver, you must first publish the message in the Message Editor.

  Personalization fields provide the means to add recipient-specific information from your marketing database to a SMS, email, WhatsApp, push notifications . Personalization fields are also used in rules that control how conditionalized content displays in each personalized message.

  Deliver provides a template-based scripting language for creating self-contained scripts that provide a way to personalize content in ways that you cannot easily duplicate in the Deliver Message Editor.

  You can add offers that you define in Unica Campaign to personalized email that you create and send through Unica Deliver. Including offers in your marketing email gives you an opportunity to deliver a timely and targeted call to action to your audience. The system collects the offer responses and makes the data available in the Campaign contact and response history for use in Campaign performance reports.

Format options for social sharing links

Social sharing links appear as a series of adjacent buttons in an email message. You control the size, orientation, and spacing of the links by configuring button options in the Share widget. The Share widget provides default images and formatting, but you can customize the links to suit the design of your message.

Each link to a social network appears as a button. You can arrange the share buttons vertically or horizontally and configure the button spacing.

You can specify custom images for each button. If you specify a custom image, you must specify the source of the image. You can either select images that are stored on a website or select images that are stored in the Content Library.

The size of each share link buttons is individually configurable. You can configure the link buttons to all be the same size or you can specify different dimensions for each link. For example, if you use custom images for the links, each image might require a specific button size to avoid distorting the images.

When you define button dimensions, the system asks that you to confirm each entry and each change. You can configure the system to remember your editing decisions by setting editing preferences. Use the Editor preferences link in the Message Editor toolbar to make your choice.
