When you use a three-column layout in your email, it is recommended to have white color backgroud for your email (you can select backgroud color by clicking anywhere on Email, i.e,, outside of design column and select white color from settings.

Use border upto 5px and not more than this for uniformity across different mail clients. Do not use border radius. Set to default (default = 0) for uniformity across different mail clients. Use total border (design column + per column + toolbox (Images , buttons) ) upto 5px for uniformity across different mail clients.

Measure the total width of the inner elements (all design columns having images in your email) and verify that it does not go beyond the mail width (default is 1000px)..

When you use the Browser Tool box, ensure that the string length does not exceed the column width.

When you use the Social Tool box, ensure the total width of the social icons do not exceed the column width.

While designing a email if margin is set for of the Design column and it is not displayed in final email for example: on Outlook desktop client), instead of using margin user can use empty single design column and enable the transparent option for this, it will be displayed as margin in the final email.
