Unica Deliver is a web-based, enterprise scale marketing message solution that you can use to conduct outbound bulk messaging and transactional messaging campaigns. Deliver and Campaign provide various interfaces that you use to complete messaging tasks. Access to the interfaces, and to specific messaging features, is sometimes limited by your user role and access permissions.

The Messaging Overview page provides a summary view of the messaging campaigns are created and performed throughout your Unica Campaign installation.

      When you add a mailing in Unica Campaign, the system creates a new tab in the campaign interface. The name of the tab reflects the name of the mailing. Initially, the configuration contains only this name and several default configuration settings. You must configure the mailing further before you can use it to send personalized messages.

    To use Deliver features, you must be able to access the messaging systems that Unica hosts. Access to the hosted messaging systems is provided through a hosted messaging account that Unica establishes for your organization. System administrators configure the connection and required system users.

  Digital marketers construct email, landing pages, WhatsApp messages, and text messages in Unica Deliver in the Deliver Message Editor. Marketers without specific HTML editing experience can create valid, full-featured HTML email and landing pages with the editing and personalization tools in the Message Editor.

  Email and landing page templates are documents that you create outside of the Deliver Message Editor to define the layout of personalized email, hosted landing pages. The design of the template guides the design of the message. To create personalized email, marketers add content to the template by modifying the template or by using editing tools that are provided in the Message Editor.

Preview simulates how personalized parts of the Deliver document used to create the email, landing page, SMS, WhatsApp may change according to the personal characteristics of each recipient.

Publishing a communication does not transmit the communication to message recipients or landing page visitors.   Deliver provides a template-based scripting language for creating self-contained scripts that provide a way to personalize content in ways that you cannot easily duplicate in the Deliver Message Editor.

  You can add offers that you define in Unica Campaign to personalized email that you create and send through Unica Deliver. Including offers in your marketing email gives you an opportunity to deliver a timely and targeted call to action to your audience. The system collects the offer responses and makes the data available in the Campaign contact and response history for use in Campaign performance reports.

Viewing the list of all messaging campaigns

Access the Messaging Overview page to view the list of all messaging campaigns that exist in your Unica Campaign installation. The list of message campaigns can extend over multiple pages.

Access the Messaging Overview from the Campaign menu. Select Campaign > Messaging.

By default, when the page opens, it sorts by run date, with the most recent messaging run listed first. You can sort the list by name, document name, output list name, and run date.

The names of the messaging campaigns display as hyperlinks. Click a link to access a message campaign without having to find and open the campaign in which it was created.
