Configuring the Unica Campaign and Engage integration
To ensure a successful integration of Campaign and Engage, the following products must be configured: Unica Campaign, IBM Engage, IBM UBX, and IBM UBX Toolkit.
Configuring WebSphere for use with UBX
Part of configuring the integration between Unica Campaign and IBM UBX involves configuring the Unica Campaign web application server to communicate with UBX. Follow these instructions if Campaign uses WebSphere Application Server (WAS) as the web application server.

  - Overview of the Unica Campaign and Engage integration
    The integration of Unica Campaign and IBM Engage combines the marketing segmentation tools of Unica Campaign with the messaging capabilities of IBM Marketing Cloud.

However, if you are using Unica Campaign version 10.0.0.1 or later, this step is not applicable for your setup. From Unica Campaign version 10.0.0.1 onwards, when you use Unica Campaign to download events, the response tracking tables are created automatically.

      When you complete a test run or a production run, audience information is exported by Unica Campaign to IBM Engage. For the Email and Push processes, you can specify the fields that must be used as sync fields for the audience information.

Configuring WebSphere for use with UBX

Part of configuring the integration between Unica Campaign and IBM UBX involves configuring the Unica Campaign web application server to communicate with UBX. Follow these instructions if Campaign uses WebSphere Application Server (WAS) as the web application server.

Before you begin

You must know the host name, SSL port number, and alias of the server that customers use to access IBM UBX.

About this task

Follow these steps to import an IBM Marketing Cloud certificate into WebSphere Application Server.

If Campaign is deployed in a WebSphere Application Server cluster, you must import the Engage certificate on each node of the cluster (repeat these steps).

Note that this procedure requires a restart of WebSphere Application Server.

Procedure

Log into the WebSphere Application Server administrative console.
Expand Security and click SSL certificate and key management.
Under Configuration settings, click Manage endpoint security configurations.
Select the appropriate outbound configuration to get to the (cell):<campaign-web-app-server>Node02Cell:(node):<campaign-web-app-server>Node02 management scope.
Under Related Items, click Key stores and certificates and click the NodeDefaultTrustStore key store.
Under Additional Properties, click Signer certificates and Retrieve From Port.
In the Host field, specify the Host name, SSL port number, and Alias for the IBM Engage host that customers are using.
Click Retrieve Signer Information.
Verify that the certificate information is for a certificate that you can trust.
Click Apply and Save.
Restart WebSphere Application Server.
