IBM Traveler overview
IBM Traveler provides automatic, two-way, over-the-air syncing between IBM® Domino® servers and wireless handheld devices, including Android devices, and select mobile devices running the Exchange ActiveSync protocol, such as Apple, Windows™ Phone and BlackBerry 10 devices. IBM Traveler syncs mail, calendar and address book data in real time. On some select clients, To Do and Journal data are also synchronized.

IBM Traveler overview

Ghosting of initial invitations on Apple Active Sync devices

IBM Traveler will ghost meetings that have not been accepted yet to the device calendar for Apple iOS 9.x clients.

Database transaction throttling

The IBM Traveler server will now limit the number and speed which it creates database transactions. This helps prevent stress on the database server and improve over-all database performance.

Secure FTP (FTPS) default transmission status

Secure FTP (FTPS) used by default when running the IBM Traveler PMR command. FTPS encrypts data that is transmitted to IBM Support for improved security. Because FTPS uses port 22 instead of the FTP port 21 it may be necessary to work with your network team if port 22 is not already open in your environment. See the PMR command details for upload information and settings.
