      HCL Verse has two features that provide Caller ID: Sync with Apple Contacts and an iOS Call Directory Extension. Before deciding which feature to enable, it is important to understand the iOS methodology for resolving Caller ID.

      Sync with Apple Contacts creates an HCL Verse group in Apple Contacts while the Call Directory Extension is a separate data container. A key difference between Sync with Apple Contacts and the Call Directory Extension is that Call Directory Extension phone numbers and names are only visible to iOS and not visible to third party apps.

How do I set up mail notifications?

Use the Mail Notifications setting to choose when to receive notifications of new mail.

Open the HCL Verse app.
Select Settings > Notifications to open the Mail Notifications page.
Select whether or not to receive notifications for new mail:
- All - Receive a notification for every mail.
- None - Do not receive any mail notifications.
Then choose when Verse should display the notification.
By default, Verse notifies you as soon as it detects an incoming mail. This option is useful when you are expecting time-sensitive mails that require quick responses. However, the notification will not include the mail's subject, and if you immediately open your Inbox, you might find that the mail is not available for viewing yet and you have to refresh your Inbox to see when it becomes available.
If you don't want to receive a notification until the mail is available for viewing, press the Notify me immediately button to disable this setting. Disabling this option delays notification, which enables Verse to include the mail's subject in the notification -- however, notifications are not reliable with this option disabled. For best results, leave this option enabled.
