About this task

Setting up TLS for Sametime Meeting Server requires that you configure TLS on each Base Meeting Server, Capture Server, Render Server, and Conversion Server. Then configure each component to use TLS ports.

Attention: Configuring TLSv1.2 on a cluster of Sametime Meeting Servers results in a high CPU usage on the WebSphere SIP proxy servers that front the cluster. If you intend to configure TLSv1.2, consider using a minimum of 4 CPUs and 8 GB RAM for each proxy server.
