Sametime Meetings Users Guide
The Sametime Meetings client allows you to join a Sametime meeting or lecture in a web browser without the need to download a plug-in or software. This guide contains information on how to access Sametime through your web browser.

Creating a Sametime meeting

The first time you log in as an authenticated user, a personal room is created for you. A personal room is a unique and secure room that is permanently reserved for you.

About this task

You can find your personal room on the My Meetings tab of the Meetings homepage. The default room name is Sametime Meeting Room. To edit the name or settings, refer to Editing existing meetings.

Note: Unlike other rooms, you cannot delete this room.

To start a meeting with your personal room, follow these steps:

Procedure

From the Meetings homepage, select the My Meetings tab.
Select your personal room from the list. The meeting preview window is displayed.
Select Start meeting.
