Building a project for monitoring
After you configure HCL OneTest™ Embedded for Eclipse IDE and your application, you must clean and build your project to instrument the source code of the application with the new configuration settings.
Procedure
- In the Project explorer view, right-click your project folder and select Clean Project.

Right-click your project folder and select Build Project
after your clean process is complete.
Note: You can alternatively instrument the source code of the application with the attolc4 instrumentor command-line tool. For more details, see Instrumenting and Compiling the Source Code.When you build your project, two files are created: an executable file (.exefile) with an embedded runtime script and a .mnt file that contains the communication parameters and the description of all the global variables of your project.

- If you run your application from the command line, click to find the location of the execution file.
- To run your application from the Project Explorer view, right-click the execution file and select .
