Creating tables

You can create tables in an email, calendar entry, to do item, or notebook page by using the formatting toolbar.

Procedure

  1. Click Insert table icon on the formatting toolbar.
  2. For table width, choose one:
    • Specify size -- and then enter a number and select percent or pixels.
    • Autosize to contents -- to size the table based on contents.
  3. For cell width, choose one:
    • Fixed -- each cell remains fixed and the words wrap accordingly.
    • Autosize -- each cell is sized based on the contents.
  4. To edit the layout of a table:
    1. Locate your cursor in the table.
    2. Click Table properties icon.
  5. To edit the dimensions, borders, or alignment of a table:
    1. Locate your cursor in the table.
    2. Click Table properties icon.
    3. Click Table Properties.
  6. To edit background color, dimensions, or borders of table cells:
    1. Locate your cursor in the table.
    2. Click Table properties icon.
    3. Click Cell Properties.
