Output card settings

The output card settings define how the output data is routed. The data object specified in the output card defines what data is produced.

To define card-specific output data routing, define the output card settings for each output card. Output card settings specify where to send the data, and what to do when an error occurs. An output card represents an output target. The content of an output is a data object such as a table of customer records in a database, or a message that contains a business transaction, or a file of records.

The content of an output card is defined with the Name, Schema, and Type settings. The Connection, Action, Retry, and Scope card settings are some of the output card settings that define how the output data is routed for each output card.
