Recover Windows accounts

These procedures describe how to use the account recovery utility to recover Windows accounts.

Follow these steps to use the account recovery utility:

Start MongoDB.
Open a Command window as Administrator. (Choose Run as administrator when you open the window.)
Go to your local Link installation folder: <local installation>\DesignServer
Run the command: createuser.bat <username>
Upon successful completion of the command, the following message is displayed:
Created administrative account for <username> user, initial password is stored in file C:\HCL\hipfiles\<username>password.txt
Using the credentials <username> and the <password> from the specified password file, you can now login to the Link WEB application and reset existing users accounts.
