Event reporter
Event Reporter is used for reporting Flow and Map execution events. Event Reporter enables HCL Link runtime to report Flow and Map events to Elasticsearch. Events will be reported only if the Event Reporter feature is installed and configured.

- Event reporter
  Event Reporter is used for reporting Flow and Map execution events. Event Reporter enables HCL Link runtime to report Flow and Map events to Elasticsearch. Events will be reported only if the Event Reporter feature is installed and configured.
  - Map and flow events
    When you run HCL Link Maps or Flows using the HCL Link runtime REST API, the related Map and Flow execution events are sent to the specified Elasticsearch server.

    To configure Link runtime to send events to Event Reporter, specify the Event Reporter host and port during windows installation time. The Event Reporter will start automatically on the Link local host using IP address 127.0.0.1, and listen for the Flow and Map events on the specified port.

Installation

You can view Map and Flow Events using the Kibana Dashboard.

The HCL Link runtime installation includes a Kibana dashboard definition that is pre-configured to include HCL Link Flow and Map events. You can import the dashboard definition from your HCL Link installation:<Link installation location>\flow-dashboard\dashboard_export.ndjson.
