Timeout (-TIMEOUT)

Use the Timeout adapter command (-TIMEOUT) to specify how long to wait for the client to connect to the server before the request times-out. If this option is not specified, the maximum timeout is 300 seconds and the time a client takes to connect to the server varies for different operating systems.

When this option is specified, the connection attempt is made for -TIMEOUT, time in seconds, and fails if it is not connected within the specified period of time.
