Adding Stages to an application
It is often desirable to have an application, or form, transition through a set of phases or stages. At each stage the form might be used by different people in different roles. The form also might be presented in a slightly different manner in each stage, such as having some items or pages hidden, or in a read-only state.
Redirecting users after form submission
The administrator of an HCL Domino Volt application can add a URL that is triggered when a form is submitted.

Redirecting users after form submission

The administrator of an HCL Domino Volt application can add a URL that is triggered when a form is submitted.

About this task

You can set Domino Volt to redirect the user to another application, URL, form, or app page upon form submission. Redirecting users a secondary URL is useful if the user must complete another application that is directly related to the first. The user is redirected to the second URL in a dialog when the first form is submitted.

Procedure

Click the Workflow tab.
Select the desired Stage button in the diagram.
In the Properties tab, under On action completion redirect to:, select one of the following options from the drop-down:
- Another Volt application
- Website URL
- A Form or App Page
