- Adding Stages to an application
  It is often desirable to have an application, or form, transition through a set of phases or stages. At each stage the form might be used by different people in different roles. The form also might be presented in a slightly different manner in each stage, such as having some items or pages hidden, or in a read-only state.
- Deploying applications and viewing responses
  After an HCL Domino Volt application is built it must be deployed. After it is deployed, you can supply users with the URL of the application so they can launch it. After users submit completed forms, you can view the responses.

Adding Rich Text to a form or app page

Using the Rich Text entry, you can add Rich Text anywhere in your form or app page.

About this task

The Rich text entry field has an embedded WYSIWYG rich text editor.

Procedure

From the Palette, click Entry.
Select Rich Text entry, and drop it onto the form or app page.
Select the Rich Text entry widget.

The Properties panel, where you can add a placeholder or adjust the height of the field, displays on the right side of the screen.

Note: Any application Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) used by the form are also applied to the Rich Text entry. To see the CSS associated with your form or app page, click the Styles tab.

Limitations

About this task

Rich Text Entry field does not support images.
When importing Microsoft Excel data to a rich text entry field, Volt only reads plain text. Volt will not read rich text from a cell.
When exporting a rich text entry field to Microsoft Excel, Volt will write plain text to the cell.
