Adding Stages to an application
It is often desirable to have an application, or form, transition through a set of phases or stages. At each stage the form might be used by different people in different roles. The form also might be presented in a slightly different manner in each stage, such as having some items or pages hidden, or in a read-only state.
Configuring behavior of a form on submission
Once a user completes an HCL Domino Volt form, you can send them to another stage of that form.

Configuring behavior of a form on submission

Once a user completes an HCL Domino Volt form, you can send them to another stage of that form.

About this task

After a user submits a form, you can show them the next stage of a form. For example, to confirm what they submitted by pressing a confirmation button, or to show a read-only copy of the information they submitted. You can also limit authenticated users from submitting multiple forms.

Procedure

Click the Forms tab.
In the Outline view, click the Properties icon for your form.
The default name of the form is Form 1. The Edit Form Properties window opens.
Click the Advanced tab.
In the Upon Submission: section, choose one of the following options:
- Show the success message page
- Show the success message in a dialog and then display a new form
- show the success message in a dialog and then display the next stage of the form
Click OK to save your changes, and close the Edit Form Properties window.
