- Adding Stages to an application
  It is often desirable to have an application, or form, transition through a set of phases or stages. At each stage the form might be used by different people in different roles. The form also might be presented in a slightly different manner in each stage, such as having some items or pages hidden, or in a read-only state.

  After an HCL Domino Volt application is built it must be deployed. After it is deployed, you can supply users with the URL of the application so they can launch it. After users submit completed forms, you can view the responses.

Fillable PDF integration

HCL Volt's document integration feature lets you use previously built PDF files and populate them with data captured by Volt.

Where compliance or regulatory requirements mandate it, integrating Volt captured data with existing documents can be an important part of the overall Volt solution. These output documents can be provided for precise printing, document signing or archiving.

You can now use a Volt form to collect user data, and display the information in a PDF. This process requires four steps:

Load an existing PDF into Volt.
Create a form that contains information fields that align with fields in the PDF.
Create a service description by mapping fields from your form to fields in the PDF.
Add a button that the user can click to populate and display a PDF.

Note: For the Volt document integration, PDFs must allow the input of information to be populated by data that is collected in a Volt Forms Experience Builder application.
