Preventing users from requesting a return receipt

IBM® iNotes® includes the mail policy setting Do not allow users to set return receipt. When enabled, this mail policy setting prevents users from setting a return receipt on their outgoing messages.


  1. From the IBM® Domino® Administrator client, open an existing mail policy settings document or if necessary, create a new one.
  2. In the mail settings document, click Mail > Basics.
  3. Click to select the Do not allow users to set return receipt check box.
  4. Click Save and Close.
