Viewing the Admin Activity log

The AdminCentral app provides an Activity Log page which lets the administrator view all the different requests that are submitted for various actions such as user registration/recertification and group creation.

On this page, the administrator can filter the requests by completed, pending, or error status. The state "Waiting for Adminp" means that there is a request in admin4.nsf that needs to be processed for the given action. Some actions, like renaming or deleting a user or group, will result in a whole adminp request chain. When the request in AdminCentral is marked as completed, it means only that the first adminp request has completed successfully. The other requests might run into errors and some of those requests, as in the case of a rename, might take days to complete. In other words, a completed status doesn't necessarily mean that the whole request chain has completed.
