Using prefetch for documents
You can set a notes.ini file variable so that the client loads the contents of either the visible unread messages or all visible messages in an asynchronous manner after the view list is loaded.
About this task
Using prefetch for documents results in messages opening faster from the view, because the contents are not being loaded when the message is opened; rather, they have already been fetched and exist in the view.
Note that enabling this feature may have
some bandwidth or server CPU consumption tradeoffs. To enable this
feature, use the notes.ini file setting iNotes_WA_PrefetchDocuments=value,
where:
1 = fetch all unread documents shown in the mail view
2 = fetch all documents shown in the mail view
