Uninstalling HCL® Local License Server on Windows

At any point in time, if you want to uninstall HCL® Local License Server, you can do so by using the uninstall option.

Before you begin

You must have completed the following tasks:
  • Closed all your HCLSoftware products that are mapped to the HCL® Local License Server instance.
  • Stopped the LLS service, and closed all the files and folders related to HCL® Local License Server if they are open.

Procedure

  1. Type Add in the search box on the Windows taskbar, and then select Add or remove programs from the results.
  2. Select HCL® Local License Server on the Apps & Features page.
  3. Click Uninstall.
    The Uninstall dialog is displayed.
  4. Read the details in the Uninstall screen, and then click Next.
  5. Select Complete Uninstall in the Uninstall Options screen.
    The confirmation about uninstalling the LLS Configure utility is displayed.
  6. Click OK.
    The LLS Configure utility is uninstalled, and the related logs are deleted.

    The Uninstall Complete screen is displayed.

  7. Click Done.
    A prompt to restart your system might appear.
    Note: You must restart the system even if the prompt to restart your system does not appear.
  8. Select Yes, restart my system, and then click Done.

Results

You have uninstalled HCL® Local License Server from your computer.
