Uninstalling HCL® Local License Server on Linux

At any point in time, if you want to uninstall HCL® Local License Server, you can do so by using the uninstall option.

Before you begin

You must have completed the following tasks:
  • Closed all your HCLSoftware products that are mapped to the HCL® Local License Server instance.
  • Stopped the LLS service and closed all the files and folders related to HCL® Local License Server if they are open.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the /usr/local/bin/HCL LLS/HCL_LLS_3.0 folder where HCL® Local License Server is installed.
  2. Open the terminal, and then run the following command:
    sudo ./Uninstall_HCL_LLS_3.0_Installation
    The Uninstall dialog is displayed.
  3. Read the details in the Uninstall screen, and then click Next.
  4. Select Complete Uninstall in the Uninstall Options screen.
  5. Click Next.
    The LLS service and LLS Configure utility are uninstalled.

    The Uninstall Complete screen is displayed.

  6. Click Done.
    Note: If the HCL LLS folder is not removed, then you must remove the folder by using the rm command in the terminal.

Results

You have uninstalled HCL® Local License Server from your computer.
