To lock contributor panes

About this task

By default, all contributor panes are locked. If a set of panes is locked, the panes scroll together. If you unlock one pane, only the locked panes scroll together. The unlocked pane does not scroll unless you scroll it explicitly. You can lock or unlock a single contributor pane.

Procedure

Do one of the following steps:
  • To lock all contributor panes, click either View > Lock Scroll All Contributor Panes (Linux and the UNIX system) or View > Lock All (Windows systems).
  • On Linux and the UNIX system, to lock or unlock a single contributor pane, click the lock scrolling button at the top of the pane in which you want to lock or unlock scrolling.
