Loading resources into a ClearCase view

To access resources, you must load them into your ClearCase® view.

1. If you are using Eclipse, open the ClearTeam Explorer perspective.
2. Connect to the ClearCase server. In the ClearTeam Navigator, select yourname_tut_view and then click the (Connect To ClearCase Server button in the toolbar. In the WAN dialog box, fill in the connection information and click OK.
3. Load the VOB.
   1. Navigate to your tutorial VOB in the ClearTeam Navigator, right-click the VOB, and click Show ClearCase View Configuration.
   2. Right-click in the ClearCase View Configuration view and select Edit Configuration.
      Note: You can also click the Edit Configuration icon on the ClearCase View Configuration view menu bar to invoke the Edit Configuration dialog box.
   3. In the Edit Configuration dialog box, navigate to your tutorial VOB in the Select resources and add or remove rules list box and click the Add button to add the tutorial VOB to the Load Rules edit box.
      Note: You can also type the name of the tutorial VOB directly into the Load Rules edit box.
   4. Click OK in the Edit Configuration dialog box.
      Note: You can also load resources by clicking on the menu option list in the ClearTeam Navigator, selecting Unloaded elements, Unloaded Private VOBs, or Unloaded Public VOBs, right-clicking on the unloaded resource in the ClearTeam Navigator and clicking Load Resource.
