  HCL Connections™ is a collaborative tool that makes it easy to connect with others and exchange ideas. Start sharing important information, building a network of useful contacts, and following people that interest you.
- Home page
  Use the home page as a command center to scan and manage items that need your attention. You can view your most recent project updates, check in on the people you follow, and review your action items all from one place.
- Profiles
  Use profiles to connect with others, showcase your skills, and find the people you need.
- Activities
  Use activities to keep a team informed, collect and share project resources, or to assign and track tasks.
- Files
  Using the Files app, you can upload, organize, share and collaborate on files easily. Files can be shared, tagged, organized in folders, and accessed from other applications, such as Activities and Communities.

      Search or browse for communities that you're interested in. When you find a community, you can search within it for more detailed information.

      Share what you know and inspire others by joining a community that interests you.

    Use community apps, such as Wikis and Blogs to share information, collaborate with others, and bring your expertise to the community.

    Give your community and its members the tools they need to collaborate.
- Blogs
  Use blogs to share your announcements, updates, and opinions with others.
- Forums
  Share information, brainstorm ideas, ask and answer questions, and discuss topics of mutual interest in a forum.
- Wikis
  Tap the wisdom of the crowd by building a body of knowledge in a wiki. Everyone on your team can make a contribution.
- Bookmarks
  Use Bookmarks to collect and organize shortcuts to websites.

What is a community?

A community lets people who share a common interest interact with one another.

What makes a community?

Communities are groups of people with a common interest. A community with public access is available for all to join, while membership of a restricted community is limited to a particular group. You can also start a public community with moderated access, allowing you to control membership and manage access to the community's resources. Public communities and moderated communities are visible to all users, but restricted communities can only be seen by community members.

Highlights

Whether you are added to or joining a community or starting one of your own, you can use these features to get the most out of your experience.

On the navigation bar, click Communities > I’m a Member to see a list of the communities that you belong to.
Community owners can access the Members page to add or remove members from your community. All members of the community can view the list of people who belong to the community.
Bring information into your community by sharing files and bookmarks with fellow members.
Owners can add apps to a community to make extra functionality available to members.
Owners can organize community membership using subcommunities to create smaller subsets of members.
