To install HCL Connections™, you need to follow a detailed series of procedures.
Optional: Installing and configuring the Tiny Editors for HCL Connections
HCL Connections 6.5 can use the optional Tiny Editors: TinyMCE or Textbox.io, to replace the HCL Connections™ default rich text editor.
Optional: Role-based deployment for the Tiny Editor for HCL Connections
The optional role-based deployment module enables administrators to determine and configure which IBM WebSphere Application Server users or groups receive access to the Tiny editor.

Optional: Role-based deployment for the Tiny Editor for HCL Connections

The optional role-based deployment module enables administrators to determine and configure which IBM WebSphere Application Server users or groups receive access to the Tiny editor.

About this task

Once role-based deployment has been configured and activated, only users with the required role will be able to access an Tiny Editor, either TinyMCE or Textbox.io. All other users will receive the default HCL Connections rich text editor as their editor for content. To enable role-based deployment, you must install the Tiny Editor for HCL Connections enterprise application and change the Editor configuration to use role-based deployment as described in selecting which rich text editor to deploy. To install a role-based deployment, perform the following tasks:
