Importing a query

You can import a query from another Compass database provided both databases use the same schema. Importing queries is a useful feature for sharing queries amongst colleagues

Procedure

To import a query:

Right-click a folder in the Navigator view and click Import.
In the Import window, select the query to import.
The file must have the .qry file extension to be a valid file to import.
Click Open.
The query is imported and saved in your workspace.
