Adding an attachment to a record

You can attach a file to a record if the schema design supports it. A file attachment can provide additional information about a record.

Procedure

To add a file attachment to a record from the Query Results view:
  1. Select the record in the result set and right-click it.
  2. Click Utilities > Add Attachment.
  3. In the Add Attachment window, type the file name in the Name field, or use the Browse button to locate the file.
  4. Optional: Provide a description of the file attachment in the Description field.
  5. Click OK.

Results

To add a file attachment to a record from the Record Details view :
  1. Click the Attachments tab.
  2. Click Add.
  3. In response to the message "Opening and modifying an attachment involves modifying a record. Do you want to continue?," click Yes.
