Defining a record template with default values

You can create a record template with default values if you frequently submit records that contain identical information.

About this task

To define a record template that contains default values:

Procedure

  1. Click Actions > New. In the Choose Record Type window, select a record type and click OK.
  2. Enter values in the fields that you want to save to the template.
  3. Click Values and select Save as Default.
  4. When you are finished entering field values, click Close.
