General mapping rules

In a WebSphere Commerce and Sterling Selling and Fulfillment Suite (SSFS) integration, the WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus mediation module maps between the two systems. You must change the module to suit your environment.

The following table shows the default mappings between WebSphere Commerce fields and SSFS fields:

Buyable=N Item validation rule on. Effective dates in SSFS must be defined for these items.

If Buyable=N, then the item does not appear in the WebSphere® Commerce storefront and customers are not able to add it to cart. To control whether an item is buyable or not, the item must be created in Sterling Selling and Fulfillment Suite and the effective dates must be supplied.
